Shannon and Sam: Intimate Vows at Cleethorpes Town Hall and a Dramatic Coastal Shoot on the Beach 🌊
It was an honour to capture the beautiful wedding of Shannon and Sam, a day that perfectly blended intimate, classic elements with the dramatic backdrop of the Lincolnshire coast. The day began with a heartfelt ceremony at Cleethorpes Town Hall, just steps away from the iconic beach where we finished the day.
This wedding truly showcased how personal a celebration can be. Shannon chose a stunning, vintage-style short lace wedding dress with long sleeves, perfectly accessorized with a delicate tiara, and paired it with a classic white rose bouquet. The details were chic and cheerful, from the beautiful hair styling during her joyful preparation to the little flower girls in their pink cardigans and floral crowns. After the intimate Town Hall ceremony, the couple exited to a joyous confetti shower next to their beautifully adorned vintage car.
Stress-Free Portraits on Cleethorpes Beach
Like many couples, Shannon and Sam were keen to capture portraits that reflected their local connection without adding stress to their timeline. My commitment, refined over nearly twenty years of experience as a wedding photographer, is to make these sessions entirely relaxed and enjoyable.
We took a short walk to the Cleethorpes seafront and beach, utilizing the unique coastal landscape. The dramatic, cloudy sky and the backdrop of the pier provided a stunning, moody contrast to the warmth of their connection. We captured romantic moments kissing against the stone wall overlooking the sea and intimate walks along the promenade. These images are powerful, authentic, and perfectly capture the rugged beauty of a seaside wedding.
The entire day, from the Town Hall vows to the relaxed reception speeches, was infused with genuine joy.
The resulting collection of images is a vibrant, authentic record of Shannon and Sam’s gorgeous Cleethorpes wedding photography, ensuring they have a beautiful, comprehensive story of their day to cherish.
