Jade and Andy: Classic Church Ceremony and Joyful Hall Farm Reception ⛪️🥂
I had the pleasure of photographing Jade and Andy's beautiful wedding, which featured a traditional ceremony at the Church of St Peter followed by a lively reception at Hall Farm, both located in the charming village of Ashby Cum Fenby, Lincolnshire.
This wedding blended classical elements with a fun, festival-style celebration:
- Ceremony & Style: The ceremony took place in the historic stone Church of St Peter, featuring striking gothic arches and wooden pews, setting a traditional tone.
- The bridal party was elegantly dressed, with the bride in a fitted white V-neck gown and the bridesmaids in complementary navy blue lace dresses.
- The color scheme was warm and romantic, highlighted by stunning bouquets of peach and white roses and other florals.
- Unique Fashion: One of the guests wore a traditional Scottish kilt outfit, adding a unique cultural touch to the celebration.
Scenic Portraits and Reception Fun
The portrait session embraced the idyllic countryside setting:
- Lakeside Romance: We captured serene and romantic portraits of the newlyweds by the scenic lake at Hall Farm, surrounded by lush summer greenery.
- Rustic Celebration: The reception at Hall Farm was a high-energy, outdoor affair held in a rustic courtyard with brick buildings and timber frames.
- Guests enjoyed themselves with live music from a band and a delightful visit from a vintage pink and white ice cream truck (Harrison's Ices), which added a fun, festival vibe.
- The celebration was filled with candid moments of guests laughing, dancing, and toasting, providing a great story of the joy and excitement of the day.
The resulting images beautifully capture the elegance of the church ceremony and the vibrant, laid-back fun of the Hall Farm reception, creating a comprehensive story of their Lincolnshire wedding photography.
