Wow what a great weekend V Festival was, from opening act Paloma Faith to ending on a high with Kasabian. A truly great weekend. The GX20 & Pentax DA* 50-135mm 2.8 with their weatherproofing certainly helped with the amount of fluids thrown around during The Courteeners & kasabians set, along with the rain on Sunday, which helped get some great crowd shots.

Got to shoot the wonderful Latitude Festival a few weeks a go in Suffolk for efestivals.co.uk A wonderful festival with a wide & diverse range of acts over the weekend.
Went to see Venacava’s biggest local gig to date at the Memorial Hall where bands have not appeared there for a very long time. The band invited me to cover the gig for them, which I was proud to do.
Venacava played a superb set to the 300 plus audience. The fans pushing the crush barrier over within the first three songs, the bar drunk dry by 9-30 & the final song resulting in a full on stage invasion. This was an I was there moment & one I was pleased to cover for this superb local band.
